Rochester General Health System
The Rochester General Health System comprises several affiliated organizations that have been providing a continuum of high quality health care services to residents of greater Rochester New York and the surrounding regions for more than 150 years. Rochester General Hospital, a 528-bed tertiary care facility, servies as the hub, or flagship of the system.
Rochester General is home to the Rochester Heart Institite, independently recognized nine times as one of the nation's Top 100 Cardiac centers and is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic. RGH also is designated by New York State and the JCAHO as an accredited Stroke Center. RGHS also has a strategic alliance with the Rochester Institute of Technology and the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
